Georges Houssney is the founder and president of Horizons International, a 25 year-old global missions organization dedicated to proclaiming the gospel, discipling the nations and equipping the church. Georges founded Horizons International in 1990.  Since then, Georges has grown Horizons into a dynamic and multi-faceted international ministry with over 80 staff members in ten countries. Georges is the author of the widely acclaimed book Engaging Islam. He has authored two other books in Arabic, an Arabic Bible study, and the widely circulated ReachOut magazine. He also teaches in the Engaging Islam and Battle for the Hearts DVDs. Georges holds a bachelor degree in Psychology from Haigazian College in Beirut, Lebanon. Georges has also completed graduate work in Psychology & Counseling at The American University of Beirut, in Communications and Anthropology at Daystar Communications, in Communications at Wheaton College, and in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Colorado. Georges and his wife, Joy, split their time between Beirut, Lebanon and Boulder, Colorado. They have four children and ten grandchildren.

Joy Loewen was born in Yemen to American missionary parents who pioneered the Gospel into Somalia. Ed and Joy met at Moody Bible Institute. After marriage they ministered in Pakistan from 1978-1988. Since 1988 to the present Ed and Joy have been ministering among Muslim university students, immigrants, and refugees in Canada. Joy has written the book, Woman to Woman, Sharing Jesus with a Muslim Friend, and helps equip Christian women to reach out to Muslim women and families. Her equipping blog can be found at: joyloewen.blogspot.com. Ed and Joy have two married adult children and six grandchildren. They serve with Pioneers International.

Amani hosts a weekly Muslim Woman show on the al Hayat Channel. This weekly, 90-minute program reaches out to Muslim women, as well as Muslim Background Believers, giving them a forum to discuss many issues important in their lives. The Muslim Women show is hosted by former Muslim women who lived under the oppression of Islam but have been set free through faith in Jesus Christ.  Amani also speaks around the globe on the topic of Islam and is a much sought after teacher and discipler.  To reach out to suffering women, God has opened many doors for Amani. Her extensive knowledge of both Islam and Christianity, her personal experiences in the bondage of Islam, and the freedom she now enjoys through faith in Jesus Christ - all give this brave ambassador for Christ the ability to boldly challenge false beliefs with wisdom, love and respect.

André Houssney was born in Beirut, Lebanon during that country's civil war between multiple sects of Muslims and Christians. The son of a Lebanese father and an American mother, André was raised with an understanding of the complexities of cross-cultural communication. After studying Ethnomusicology at the University of Colorado, André has been involved in efforts to assist national churches develop worship music in their own language and musical style. His ministry teaching and training with Horizons International has taken him to over 40 countries including four years spent ministering in his native Lebanon. Andre and his Thai-American wife Vanee have three boys; Elias, Silas and Ezra. Andre is also working on agricultural and business projects to establish the viability of the national churches and their missions programs. These Fair Trade businesses like Zambeezi and The Zambian Soap Company create funds to support native missionaries to Muslim regions.
